The Peaceful Foods Initiative is a venture of Global Peace Initiatives. Global Peace Initiatives creates good food that is good for the community.  GPI provided consultation in the development of Peace Gardens at Light of the World Christian Church and Emmerich Manual High School STAR Academy for Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. How do churches, educators, social workers, volunteers and the marketplace come together to improve our bodies through food? Your body is your food and your food creates your health. You can learn how foods are good for you.  You can learn how food can help create more harmony within, in others and in the world around us. Learn how our community is creating fellowship and wellness through food that we grow ourselves.

Learn more about food choices that are good for your body and spirit attend this plenary session and afternoon of workshops. The Peaceful Foods Initiative welcomes you to a panel discussion around the life cycle of our food. Choose breakout sessions to learn about growing, preparing, serving the food that helps our body become healthy. Understand how food systems can help communities and how the food produced in these food systems can help sustain community food resources. Global Peace Initiatives - Peaceful Foods Initiative, produces good food that is good for the community. Participants will be able to hear from growers, culinary educators, agriculturists, restaurateurs, social justice, doctors and spiritual leaders.
